Optional drinking-water upgrade
Under-sink reverse osmosis for a dedicated kitchen faucet.
Reverse osmosis is an optional add-on to whole-home carbon and softening. It treats drinking and cooking water at one kitchen faucet—not showers, laundry, or the rest of the house—and is priced separately from whole-home treatment.
Where RO belongs in the house
A typical residential RO system sits under the kitchen sink with a dedicated faucet. It is point-of-use equipment. The rest of the plumbing still sees whatever is on the whole-home line.
That is why we talk about RO after, or alongside, whole-home carbon and true softening—not instead of them. If chlorine taste is in the shower, an under-sink unit will not touch it.
Reverse osmosis systems are designed to reduce a broad range of dissolved substances in drinking and cooking water, depending on the system and water conditions. Performance also depends on maintenance. We do not claim every contaminant is removed.
Optional add-on
Priced separately from whole-home treatment
The core conversation is whole-home carbon filtration plus a true ion-exchange softener, recommended and quoted after we review your home and water. Reverse osmosis can be added for a dedicated drinking tap—or discussed on its own when whole-home tanks are not an option.
Drinking-water treatment that fits your kitchen
Under-sink reverse osmosis treats water at a dedicated drinking and cooking faucet. It can complement whole-home filtration or softening, but it does not treat shower, laundry or bathroom water. It can also be considered on its own when the assessment supports that use.
Before selecting an RO configuration, we check feed-water suitability and any necessary pretreatment. Pressure and other operating conditions must fit the system. Cabinet space, the cold-water connection, drain connection and faucet location also need review.
RO remains a separate option unless explicitly included in an approved offer. The water test and site review confirm suitability and final installation scope; neither a photograph nor a starting price establishes equipment approval.
Kitchen drinking water
A dedicated drinking faucet—not a whole-house claim.
Many single-family homes pair whole-home treatment with optional RO at the kitchen. Condos and townhomes without control of the incoming line often discuss under-sink RO on its own—we say so during the visit.
Start with a free water test so we can match drinking-water options to what is already in the house.

Condos and in-unit options
When whole-home tanks are not allowed, under-sink RO is often the right conversation.
Downtown West Palm towers, some Delray beach condos, and townhomes without control of the incoming line cannot take a two-tank whole-home system. In those cases we say so, and we talk about under-sink RO for the kitchen.
Single-family homes in Jupiter, the Gardens, Wellington village neighborhoods, and west Boynton usually can do both: whole-home treatment plus optional RO at the kitchen.

FAQ
RO questions
Is reverse osmosis free with the whole-home package?+
No. It is an optional under-sink upgrade, priced separately.
Where is an RO system installed?+
Typically under the kitchen sink, with a dedicated faucet. It treats drinking and cooking water at that tap, not the entire house.
Does RO replace a whole-home filter?+
No. Reverse osmosis is point-of-use. Showers, laundry, and other taps still see whatever is in the whole-home plumbing unless you also have whole-home treatment.
