Residential well-water treatment

Residential well-water filtration and softening

SpenceCo treats household well water—the supply to sinks, showers, laundry, and drinking taps. This is active filtration and softening for the home, not well drilling or pump contracting. Recommendations begin with testing the water at the home and reviewing where equipment would go.

What the visit is for

Equipment recommendations start with the home: water at the taps, and the space, drain, and incoming line where tanks would sit. One system does not fit every well.

Filtration can reduce sediment or improve taste and odor when those issues are present. A true ion-exchange softener treats hardness—the minerals that leave scale and spotting. Iron, sediment, and odor are different problems. A softener alone does not fix them.

The in-home visit does not certify that well water is safe to drink, and it does not detect every contaminant. It is not a laboratory analysis.

Well-water systems are quoted separately based on your water test and installation needs. Municipal recommendations and pricing do not automatically apply. Under-sink reverse osmosis remains optional and priced separately. Three months of White Glove Service is included with qualifying municipal installations; it is not assumed on a well-system quote.

Active treatment for the house

Filtration and softening for well-fed homes—not drilling or pumps.

Today SpenceCo focuses on household well-water quality: filtration, softening, and related treatment after testing. That is separate from regulated water-well contracting such as drilling or pump repair, which is not currently advertised on this site.

FAQ

Questions we actually get

Do you drill wells or repair or replace well pumps?+

SpenceCo provides household well-water filtration and treatment for water at your taps. We do not currently advertise regulated water-well contracting such as drilling or pump repair.

Is well water priced the same as municipal water treatment?+

Well-water systems are quoted separately based on your water test and installation needs. Municipal recommendations and pricing do not automatically apply to private wells.

What does the well-water visit include?+

We look at water at your taps and at where equipment would go. The visit does not certify that the water is safe to drink, and it does not test for every contaminant. Tell us you are on a well, plus any odor, staining, sediment, or hardness you notice. SpenceCo still needs to confirm the visit time after you request it.

Personalized path

Private wells need a property-specific path

Tell us about your well-water goals. SpenceCo will point you toward a water test rather than guessing specialty treatment from a form alone.
