Sulfur smell on a well
That is a well-water issue. A softener is not an odor filter. Odor and staining are confirmed at the house and quoted separately if treatment is warranted.
Jupiter, Florida
In-town Jupiter is usually on Town water. Jupiter Farms residential streets are typically on private wells. We treat them as different jobs.
The Town of Jupiter operates its own water system for town customers. Jupiter Farms, west of the Turnpike and I-95 corridor, is an unincorporated area. The Town’s water-supply plan states that Farms residents generally self-supply with private wells and that the Town does not currently plan to extend potable service to those residential streets.
SpenceCo tests household water and installs filtration, true softeners, and optional reverse osmosis. Well-water systems are quoted separately from municipal recommendations.
In-town and Abacoa homes usually have garage access and community rules similar to other planned Palm Beach County neighborhoods. Whole-home carbon plus ion-exchange softening is the typical Town-water recommendation when the install is standard.
Coastal properties can have tight side yards and more outdoor showers. Salt air still affects outdoor metal and glass after you treat indoor water.
Western acreage homes need a well conversation: which well feeds the house, whether irrigation is separate, and whether there is room for household treatment equipment.
Town of Jupiter water comes from the surficial aquifer and the deeper Floridan aquifer. The Town treats those sources with nanofiltration and reverse osmosis, then blends and disinfects the finished water.
Private wells west of town are untreated groundwater. Chemistry varies by well. Sulfur odor or iron staining can appear on some wells; we do not assume every Farms property has the same water.
A free in-home test is how we decide whether a standard carbon-and-softener package fits or whether the well job must be quoted separately.
Usually Town water. Standard whole-home carbon and true softening when space and access cooperate.
Outdoor showers and glass can show spotting. Confirm community or lot constraints for equipment placement.
Residential streets are typically on private wells. Expect a well-water treatment visit, not an automatic Town-water package.
Confirm well versus Town or county utility. Household treatment is quoted from the test.
That is a well-water issue. A softener is not an odor filter. Odor and staining are confirmed at the house and quoted separately if treatment is warranted.
Whole-home carbon filtration is the municipal-water tool for chlorine-related taste and odor. Optional RO polishes drinking water at one tap.
True ion-exchange softening addresses hardness minerals when they are present. Salt-free conditioners are a different process.
When you request the test, say whether you are on Town water or a well. Jupiter Farms and in-town Abacoa are not the same appointment.
Municipal homes with a standard install can use the whole-home carbon plus true-softener recommendation, including three months of White Glove Service.
Well homes receive a treatment plan based on test results. Pricing is quoted separately.
Jupiter and nearby Tequesta are in our Palm Beach County service area. If you are in unincorporated northern county, request the test and we will confirm whether we can visit.
Check the provider name on your water bill before using a Jupiter water report. Mailing addresses, municipal boundaries, and utility service areas can differ. The provider and your home’s plumbing both matter when selecting filtration or a softener.
These are possible providers to confirm, not an address-level service determination. Published reports describe the public supply, not a laboratory test of your tap water.
Have your water bill, household size, and photos of the incoming line and existing equipment ready. For a condo or shared supply, confirm whether you control the line and need association approval. A drain, available space, and access for service are checked before the installed quote is finalized.

Personalized whole-home treatment
Your home and water are different. We'll help determine the right treatment before recommending a system.
Your recommendation and water details help us confirm the right system and installed quote. Any additional work is quoted before installation.
Final recommendation and pricing depend on water conditions, plumbing configuration, home requirements, and any unusual installation conditions. Extra plumbing, electrical, outdoor placement, or non-standard materials are quoted before installation.
Whole-home carbon and softening are commonly discussed for municipal-water homes. Private wells are reviewed separately and may need different equipment or testing.

Personalized path
Water conditions and utility treatment can vary throughout South Florida. SpenceCo helps homeowners choose treatment based on their home, water source and goals rather than assuming every property needs the same system.
Whole-home filtration, softening, optional reverse osmosis, White Glove care, and a free in-home water test are available throughout our Palm Beach County and Broward County territory when the property qualifies.
Household well-water filtration and softening are quoted separately after an in-home test. SpenceCo treats water quality at the taps—not well drilling or pump contracting.
FAQ
Yes, on household water treatment when we can visit the address. Many Farms homes are on wells, so the visit is a well-water test, not a Town-water assumption.
Yes for standard municipal whole-home carbon and true-softener installations. Well systems are quoted from the test because the tanks are often not the same.
